So, the last time I had the chance to photograph this family (it was several years ago), I had brought my kids along for a little road trip to Texas and it was probably FOUR THOUSAND DEGREES.

Like, my little Colorado mountain kids couldn't handle the heat, lol.

We ended up taking photos under an awning to give us a break from the sun, but it was just crazy how hot it was.

This time around, the weather could not have been more perfect. It was sunny and in the mid-70s, and even the mosquitos found something better to do with their time. :p

I had such a great time with this crew. We laughed a lot, and they were up for all the candids--so of course, my photographer heart was content.
