the G family | Breckenridge family photographer

I loved spending time with this family from Austin!!

They were visiting Breckenridge and just wanted a quick session--thankfully, I convinced them that less is not always more, lol, and we did a full session right at the base of the Continental Divide.

The weather was so gorgeous, the kids were so well-behaved...even the dog was awesome. Haha.

Thanks again, Christy! I hope you love your images!

the R family | alma family photographer

I always love it when a family is willing to travel just outside of Breckenridge for family photos--when you're visiting from another state, it can seem a little intimidating when your family photographer tells you to travel 15 miles and "head over the pass." Lol.

But my favorite part of this family was not just their willingness to totally trust me on the location--I actually loved how super fun and casual they were.

No one stressed too much that the baby screamed at my camera, or that the two-year-old just wasn't. having. it.

This is that season of life for this family, and I love that we documented it just. as. it. is.

Thank you again, Pam! You have a beautiful family!

shane + krystal | Breckenridge wedding photographer

So the coolest thing about this wedding is that I actually went to high school with the bride, and the two of us spent several years playing softball together. If you had asked me, 18 years ago, if I thought I would be photographing Krystal's wedding, I would have laughed--18 years ago, I didn't even know the first thing about cameras, lol!

Everything about this day was so fun and laid back.

The bride wore a belt buckle and hat.
They served BBQ.
I caught the kids roping one another like steer.
The cake was decorated with toy tractors.

It was perfect country cowboy! I loved every minute!

Thank you again, Shane and Krystal, for inviting me to be a part of your day. I loved capturing the special moments and the beautiful details. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
