D.C. was so good to me--and it was great to see this new family of three. :)

This little man is basically a miniature version of his dad, which is incredibly cute. I'm just thankful I had a chance to get them on camera!! The weather cooperated--for the most part; but eventually, we moved the party indoors.

Thanks again, Rob + Emily!! Great to see you both, and congratulations on your newest addition!

This was my third attempt at photos with baby Carter. I was beginning to think he hated my camera. ;)

The first time, he was braaaaand new. And he wasn't diggin' it.

The second time, it was really cold outside and we were doing a large family session. Again--he wasn't diggin' it.

This time, it rained. But thankfully, we were able to do some indoor lifestyle sessions that turned out super cute.

Isn't he completely kissable!? Those lips.

Once again, I got to see some of my favorite people.

It was only for a brief mini shoot, but they took me to dinner afterward so...score.

Before I left for Texas, I was scheduled to shoot 13 sessions--7 of which were outdoors.

Of course, the forecast called for rain all weekend. Blah.

So, in an attempt to take lemons and turn them into lemonade, I figured it might be fun to offer some mini sessions in the rain. I bought a couple of clear umbrellas, and to my surprise, a couple of families took me up on it!

Of course, it only rained for a few minutes. Lol.

But we got the best of both worlds, I think.

So much fun with this family, as always.
