the M family | silverthorne, co, family photographer

I have been photographing this family for several years, but it's funny how life has taken us down paths that will continue to cross...

...Alise sold Tom and me our wedding bands. I mean, MY wedding bands. I didn't get an actual band until well after we were married, but she was the one who helped us out. :) And we went to law school together, though I don't even know that we shared any classes. Now she is living in California, preparing for the Bar, and I am in Colorado pursuing other things...but we still manage to get together for photos.

Thank you again, Alise! I had so much fun with you and your family on this evening. The light was beautiful, and so is your family!!

nate + kendall | evergreen, CO wedding photographer

There's a lot to be said for those emails you receive that say something along the lines of, "Hey, Catherine!! I am looking for a wedding photographer for my small, intimate wedding in the mountains of Colorado - I will only need you for three or four hours, tops."

Oh, how I love those emails.

Oh, how my feet love those emails. ;)

Nate + Kendall's nuptials were a dream. The venue (The Barn at Marshdale, Evergreen) is so simple and rustic. It's perfect. The stained glass. The wood work. The stuffed buffalo that randomly show up in photos. Love it all.

We left immediately after their vows to go to their home for photos, and so they could enjoy their first beer as a married couple. We returned 30 minutes later for cocktails and dinner, and then their guests got. down. on. the. dance. floor.

It was so much fun to watch.

Thanks again, Nate + Kendall! Congratulations on your beautiful February wedding!!

Cheers!!

xoxo
