This family was visiting from Texas a couple weeks ago, so I headed to Winter Park to capture their FIRST EVER family photos!
They were awesome--I encouraged them to meet me in a remote location, about seven miles into National Forest, so we could capture some gorgeous views, tall trees, and an amazing sunset.
And let me tell you--the sunset was crazy good!
I left a photo at the end, so you can see what we had a chance to witness.
Thanks again, Lindsay! So nice to meet you and your family--hope you love your photos!
xoxo

The coolest thing about these photos is that I am going to get the chance to photograph these lovely people again in the fall, when two of them get married! :)
How fun is that!?
Lindsey and Bryce traded up the engagement session included in their wedding package, for family photos instead. It was so fun to meet this group and get a chance to get to know them better before the nuptials in a few months.
Thanks again, Kelly and Lindsey! I hope you love the images!
See you soon!

will + lindsey | Breckenridge maternity photographer
Lindsey first contacted me back in 2016, because she and her boyfriend, Will, had just recently been engaged and they needed a wedding photographer--so we met, for the first time, to do their engagement photos.
Then last year, I had the chance to photograph their wedding in the most beautiful Catholic Church I have ever seen. Lindsey wore her mother's dress from the 1970s, and the entire day was totally magical.
Fast forward to this year--she and Will are expecting, and she asked if I would photograph her maternity photos.
Uh. YES!?
So here we are.
We met up in Frisco, where the light is oh so beautiful, and the views are crazy good. I brought my crazy 5-year-old daughter along so she could keep them laughing with her completely inappropriate comments, but it was good--we got some great candid smiles. ;)
Thanks again, Lindsey! I am wishing all the best for you and Will--I hope baby's delivery is smooth and PERFECT.
Enjoy your sneak peek!

I was randomly scrolling Facebook one day, when I noticed that my friend Becca had mentioned loading up her family car and heading north to Colorado (from Texas). I instantly messaged her, "We HAVE to do photos while you are here!"
Thankfully, she agreed. :)
So, I got to do my first family photos in this gorgeous place that I have only photographed my OWN family in.
And honestly--they could not have turned out better.
I am so, so happy with these beautiful sunset images.
And I always have such a great time photographing this family. No one is uptight. No one demands perfect smiles. The kids get to be kids, and that typically makes for stunning candid and lifestyle photos.
Thanks again, Becca!! So great to see you and spend time with your family.
Enjoy your sneak peek!

D.C. session | Breckenridge family photographer
My sessions in D.C. are officially complete and delivered!
This session was officially one of my most difficult ones to date--not because of crying kids or anything like that. But because these kiddos were so happy and excited, all they wanted to do was run around, lol. Mom and dad definitely worked up a sweat, trying to herd them (like cats, hehe).
All in all, though, I love so many of these photos. Some of my favorite images capture true life right now. And these are definitely true life! Three kids under four--that'll do it for you! Ha!
Thanks again, Kristen! I hope you love your images!
