adam + erin | colorado wedding photographer

If I had to rank each of the weddings I have ever photographed, Adam + Erin's wedding is by far the easiest one.

Twenty-ish guests. Nothing traditional. A private ceremony with only family, and a couple of friends. A reception in their own backyard where they spent some of the time drinking, some of the time dodging the scattered thunderstorms, and most of the time eating [um, amazing] food.

At the end of the evening, Erin handed me a little Thank You card--inside, she expressed the fact that she was reluctant to hire a photographer because their ceremony was so small and intimate.

I am so glad she made the choice to bring me along, regardless. Every wedding is worth the photos--whether it's just the two of you at the courthouse, or 500 of your closest friends and family--photos of your special day are definitely worth having. I mean, for my own wedding--before I even picked up a camera--it was just me, my husband, and about seven people we wanted to have there. The photographer was a family friend who snapped some shots, then printed them out at the drug store so that we could have our album immediately.

I treasure that album. And those photos.

Adam + Erin, I hope you will treasure your photos as well. Your day was beautiful, and thank you for trusting me enough to document your special moments!

Best wishes to you, and cheers! to a lifetime of happiness.
