tara + family | breckenridge family photographer

Oh my gosh, this family was so much fun!

First, the outfits. Everyone looked amazing and it was all so well coordinated. I want people to use this family as a guide for "what to wear," lol.

Second, they were super laid back and they moved quick. I think this entire session took 20 minutes (which was good because we were being threatened with thunderstorms).

Third, the outfits. ;)

Thank you again, Tara! Your family was an absolute joy to work with! I hope you enjoyed your trip to Breck!

jayson + jennie | colorado wedding photographer

Back in 1999, Jennie and I sat next to one another in Spanish class. I don't remember much about that time, but I do remember really liking Jennie because we shared a sense of humor and had a similar creative side.

Fast forward to 2008, and she was one of the first supporters of my photographer endeavors. She was one of my first paying clients, and since then I have photographed her multiple times--more recently her engagement photos, and of course, her wedding.

I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph her wedding.

An intimate ceremony with only five or six people in attendance, Jennie walked through the trees to meet Jayson for their nuptials. They literally laughed (and cried!) the entire time, and when it was over, roughly 150 people showed up to party.

They had a table for video games.

They built a wall for VooDoo Donuts.

Photos of their relationship hung in frames all over the Community Center walls.

People outside played Jenga, Yahtzee, and Cornhole.

And of course, hot dogs, burgers, and beer were on the menu.

It was a wonderful party, and I so enjoyed being a part of it. Strange to think that our friendship from 1999 carried into them asking me to be a part of such a special day.

Thank you again, Jayson + Jennie. I love you both, and I wish you years of happiness to come!

xoxo
