melanie | Breckenridge headshots

This girl right here.

I just love her.

Our working relationship started several years ago when she contacted me after I delivered a wedding gallery--she liked my work, and wondered if we could work together (she's such an amazing wedding planner).

Um, of course. Yes.

Through the years, she has become a friend of mine and I look forward to the times when we get to work together and just create pretty things.

Like her most recent headshots.

She told me she wanted something fun. Modern. Something that matched her brand.

And I really hope that in our time together, she feels like I delivered.

Thanks again, Mel!! I hope you love these as much as I do!!

ben + alaina | breckenridge maternity photographer

It was only a few years ago when Ben + Alaina got married in rural Michigan, and asked me to be there to photograph it.

Their wedding can be found here

Since then, we've kept in touch and I was thrilled when Alaina emailed me to let me know they'd be coming to Breckenridge for a baby moon and would love maternity photos.

We met up on what threatened to be a really rainy evening, but we actually ended up having beautiful weather--topped off with a gorgeous rainbow in the end. It was fun to spend time with these two, even if the time was brief.

I always love the chance to photograph families multiple times over the years.

Thanks again, Ben + Alaina!! I wish you the best in this new adventure and I can't wait to meet your baby girl!!

the H family | breckenridge family photographer

One of the most flattering parts of being a travel photographer is that often I will travel to photograph families...and then, they will travel to me.

I photographed this family a few years back, in Houston.

To have Andrea contact me and tell me she would be in Breckenridge and wanted another session was just such a dream. It's awesome to know that people love what you create and want more!

Thank you again, Andrea! I hope you love these! I had such a fun time with this session--it totally filled my creative cup!

the L family | breckenridge family photographer

This little girl is one of my absolute favorites to photograph.

I've actually been taking her photos since she was in her mama's belly, but I am always watching her on Facebook with her big ol' smile, just itching to get her in front of my lens.

When it came time for her one-year photos, I was so excited but it was raining. Her mom text me with a picture of clear skies several miles away and said, "We need to go that way."

So without any idea where we would shoot, we just started to drive in the direction of sunshine. Finally, we pulled off at a campground full of the most beautiful wildflowers. The entire session was literally eight minutes long because it started to rain again but we got so. many. good. photos.

Thanks again, David + Katie, for sharing your sweet girl with me!! I hope you love the photos!!

dakota + hailey | Breckenridge engagement photographer

These two. OMG.

We had so much fun at this session.

First of all, I am photographing their wedding next summer. They were in town from D.C. for like, five seconds, and somehow we managed to beat the crazy thunderstorms and squeeze in an engagement session.

We laughed pretty much the entire time.

I love, love, love clients like this.

I feel like the wedding day will be that much more comfortable after getting to know each other for an hour in a giant field in the mountains. Haha.

Thanks again, Dakota + Hailey! I hope you love your images!

the E family | Rocky Mountain National Park

This session was such a fun one--they were visiting from out-of-state, and we met in Rocky Mountain National Park.

The weather was absolutely perfect.

It was threatening rain, but it held off--instead, it made for a really gorgeous sky, with dark clouds and a peak of blue!

Thanks again, Stephanie! I had such a great time with your family. I hope you had a wonderful time in Colorado. :)

phoebe | class of 2020

This was such a fun senior session!

When I arrived, they made it very clear to me that Phoebe wanted something bold and colorful, and she loved the idea of having unique poses and images.

Game. On.

I think we nailed it. ;)

She and I walked all around the property, taking different photos in different outfits and I so hope she just loves these images!

Thanks again, Phoebe!!

xoxo

P.S.--That's her prom dress at the end. How amazing is that dress!?!?
