The coolest thing about social media is that it allows you to connect with people you literally have not seen in years...

Jackie and I actually went to Grad school together at the University of Denver, but I had not seen her since the day we graduated (wayyyyy back in 2006). When she contacted me for photos of her family and explained that she had just had a baby, I was so glad we were able to make it work.

Thanks again, Jackie + Nick! Congrats again on your sweet baby girl. <3

When I first considered adding boudoir photos to my portfolio, Jennie was the very first one to volunteer. My very first boudoir client, ever. :)

We also went to high school together which is an added bonus, because it was great to see her and meet her boyfriend (who, might I add, was such a good sport for me).

Thanks again, you two! Great to see you!

As always--some of my favorite people to photograph.

Look at that red HAIR. <3

I have photographed this little cowgirl too many times to count. And each time, I enjoy our sessions more and more--maybe it's because she's getting a bit older and more willing to look at me and smile. :)

Or maybe it's because she says things like, "Want to come to my house and play with all of my toys?"

OMG. Sweet baby.

Thanks again, Jennifer! As always, great to see the two of you!

I will be honest.

Five years living in Waco, TX, going to Baylor University--and I never imagined that such a beautiful place existed in that town.

Thankfully, Jill invited me to her family's home to do their photos. It was gorgeous. The perfect spot for family pictures! Seeing as we started them right at sunset, the light was perfect. And even though we eventually ran out of light completely, I think these turned out fantastic.

Thanks again, Jill! Your brood is so good looking. ;)
