the L family | Breckenridge Fresh 48

Katie reached out to me for some maternity photos when she was about 35 weeks along, and I was thrilled when she asked me to come to the hospital for some Fresh 48 photos after her sweet baby girl was born.

What is a Fresh 48?

It's a chance to document baby's first moments, within those 48 hours after birth!

For Katie and David, we were able to document weighing, first bath, first footprints, breastfeeding, and so much more. It's like a cross between birth photos and newborn photos--and I absolutely love these sessions.

(P.S. - her first bath was so precious. She was a little hangry and cold, but that bath just settled her right down. The moment Katie put her hair under the water, she was totally mesmerized.)
