So in 1992, my parents moved me from California to Colorado because my dad's job had transferred him to Denver. I started my fifth grade year not knowing a soul, but I quickly became friends with three other girls.

Kari was one of them.

We remained friends over the years--I spent a lot of time at her house, and have fond memories of her crazy dad (whom I adored); similarly, after our session, we spent time reminiscing over her own memories of fun times at my house as kids.

And now here we are. Each with our own kids.

It's crazy how quickly time flies!

Thanks again, Kari!! It was so great to see you after all these years (literally like 15 years). Your family is lovely. :)
