Our second major stop on our road trip with my kids was Houston; unfortunately, the date I had set aside for a bunch of family photos was also the day that the skies opened up and just poured rain.

All night.

Thankfully, this family decided to go for it. It was right at the start of the stormy weather so the most we saw was drizzle, but still. I was so glad they said YES!

Because really, even though it's overcast--these images turned out beautifully!
