So many things to say about this session.
First, it's actually a compilation of two sessions together--the first was just Susan and me, along with another one of our photographer friends, going out to take random photos of our little girls. We shot some photos at a vineyard, then went out for Mexican food.
More formally, Susan wanted some family photos. So, a couple weeks later, I met her and her husband down near Temecula in the wee hours of the morning so the light would be perfect.
The kids ran around with sticks, we put them on a blanket and tossed them around, Susan and her husband gave lots of kisses. Overall...it was a success. :)
By the way, if you are in southern California and you are pregnant--or you know someone who is--you need to check out Susan Scott Photography on Facebook. She does only outdoor newborns, and she is absolutely fabulous. I guarantee you will like her work.
Thanks again, Susan!! Hope you love your photos. :)
xoxo
After our family session, Susan and I went to breakfast with her little girl, Ruby. WHYYYYYYY did Ruby not give me any of these smiles during the session!?!? ;)

sweet sisters | southern california family photographer
When Ashley contacted me, she knew she wanted photos--but she wasn't sure what kind of photos she wanted. So I was thrilled when she took my suggestion for some mom + sister photos, just before Mother's Day. It was kind of fun to shoot a family of sisters who were all adults--it was a refreshing change from the nearly impossible task of getting perfect smiles from toddlers. ;)
Plus, Ashley and I go way back. We were good friends all through college, building our relationship over a lot of common interests and our mutual disdain for waiting tables at Chili's. Lol.
It was great to see you, Ashley!! Thanks again for introducing me to your fabulous sisters.

So glad I got this woman to meet me in Dallas for some boudoir photos. We had tried a couple times in the past, but it never worked out.
Isn't she beautiful!?
I freaking love this job.

This is like Round 4 or 5 with this family--I see them at least twice a year for photos.
I can't say enough good things about them, except that I love their photos more and more with each session.
Thanks again, Victor + Eryn. See you at Disneyland in the fall? ;)

This woman is an old friend--we lost touch for awhile, and reunited through boudoir photos. Lol.
It was great to see you, A! You are gorgeous, as always. :)
