It was so great to meet up with these two tonight!
After several hours of editing, it was nice to take a break and drive into the mountains for some photos. Plus, these two were total good sports and put up with all of my strange requests, haha!
Thanks again, Chris + Cassie!
Hope you love them!
xoxo

This family was so much fun.
It was so cold. And when mom asked them to take their jackets off for a few photos, these kiddos didn't even complain.
They even threw snow in the end!
Thanks again, Kari. I hope you love your images!

When Allie and I first chatted about photos, she was excited about the prospect of shooting outside of their new home, with the gorgeous views of the Continental Divide. Having just moved away from there, I was all about it--I know just how gorgeous those views can be!
The only problem was, I forgot how windy, cold and miserable it can get in November (and December, January, February, March, April, May...). Lol.
The winds were insaaaane, and while big sister was willing to work through it--little sister wasn't having any of it.
And let's be real, I was excited to move the party indoors. Haha!
We hung out in the living room, and the girls read books to one another. We got to chat, and catch up, and I tried to capture moments as I saw them. It wasn't quite the gorgeous outdoor session, but I love these photos all the same.
Thanks again, Allie! I hope you love these. It's always fun hanging out with your gang!

This was my second time photographing Melissa and her crew--last time, they were only a party of three. ;)
I loved having the chance to photograph these two handsome boys, as they explored a little bit around the area and loved on their mama.
Thanks again, Melissa! I hope you love these!

Gah, I always love my time with Randi and her family.
Randi is a fellow photographer in the Houston area, so the fact that she hires me for photos of her own family is such a compliment. We've known each other for several years, so it's even more special that she has become a friend and we get to meet up once a year.
Thanks again, girl! I hope you love these!

The more I photograph large, extended families, the more I enjoy them.
Anyone who has had a session with me will tell you that I am not a big posing photographer--I direct you to stand where you are comfortable, and make sure you are touching someone in your party. Closeness is key.
And it just makes for these beautifully awesome images!
Thank you again, Nina, for contacting me. I hope you and your family love these photos!
