Have I mentioned how excited I am to be photographing Melanie + Adam's wedding in just a few short months? Melanie is a wedding planner in the Denver area (Kimberly Rose Events, definitely check her out, she does such amazing work) and we met through a mutual friend's wedding several years ago.

We have worked together time and again, and when she asked me to be a part of her day it was so special.

I mean, the girl has freaking ballerinas as flower girls.

So. You know the wedding is going to be killer.

Anyways, her bridal shower was at Hotel Teatro in downtown Denver last weekend and the details were perfect. The florals were gorgeous, the drinks were such a special touch, and all of the food looked fantastic.

Loved spending time with these people, and can't wait until Mayyyyyyy!!

I kicked off my 2018 season with photos of this family this morning. They met me at 7:15am, after two days of consistent snow--the entire scene was absolutely beautiful!

Not to mention, this family from Missouri was so kind, flexible, and FUN!

I wrapped up my 2017 season with a family that had come all the way from Texas (and then driven all the way from Colorado Springs, where they were staying), to take photos in some deep snow at the base of Mt. Quandary.

As are most sessions this time of year--it was cold. Lol. But we wrapped up in blankets, and ran around in the snow, and had a great time.
